Support Groups in Leiden

The weight of our pain grows in proportion to the solitude in which we bear it

We often think we’re alone in what we’re going through, but we’re not. As a therapist, I’ve seen just how many people struggle with similar challenges — whether it’s letting go of something or someone, facing challenges and doubts about living abroad, or navigating relationships in times of change. These support groups are a confidential and compassionate space to share, reflect, and meet others who are also seeking understanding and a sense of togetherness. Whether you want to share or prefer to listen, you’re welcome here.

GRIEF & MEMORY

This group may be for you if…

You’ve lost someone or something meaningful to you, recently or years ago, and still feel the impact of that loss.

You’re experiencing grief related to a breakup, estrangement from family, life transition, or another kind of loss.

You work in a field where death and loss are part of your daily reality (such as healthcare or emergency services).

LIVING ABROAD

This group may be for you if…

You’ve recently moved to the Netherlands and feel unsure about how to build your life here.

You’ve lived here for years but still don’t feel fully at home or integrated into the culture.

You’re navigating cultural differences that are affecting your daily life, plans for the future, relationships, or sense of identity.
